I don’t have too much to report for May other than I passed all my COVID-19 tests and made it back to the UK and through quarantine which was a relief in itself as it meant that I was able to work on the new, TV drama that I’d booked. Even being vaccinated didn’t help in this situation as the TV & film exemption for quarantine is currently suspended in the UK.

I then had one final test through production which was negative and was able to start work and shoot for three days. I have one more day left to shoot in June and in between, I’ve been able to catch up with friends and family.

As seems to be the case with most productions these days, I am not allowed to talk about the project or who I portray. It’s a sensitive topic and I think people will be interested to see the show. I don’t know the release date but I’m hoping it will be out before the end of this year.

Since being vaccinated, I took myself off to the cinema, choosing to see, Godzilla Vs Kong and enjoy the full sound/visual experience that the big screen offers. The story was lacking but it was still a big thrill.

I haven’t seen many other films but have been enjoying, Halston, the TV mini series on Netflix about the iconic, American fashion designer so that’s my recommendation for the month.
