It’s been a strange couple of months with a reasonable amount of auditions and callbacks but then projects have been put on hold or casting directors, directors and producers have played it safe and used cast that they have already worked with so it’s been very slow and difficult to stay motivated but finally my hard work paid off and I’ve been offered a recurring role in a new TV show which shoots in Europe in January so I’m really looking forward to that. It’s a big project and will have a major release in 2021 but as always seems to be the case, I’ve signed an NDA so can’t talk about the series at the moment.

In November, Joe Biden won the US election though Trump has yet to concede. Still, it seemed for many people in the US and around the world, that a weight had been lifted and they could breathe again.

I spent Thanksgiving in Palm Springs which was a much needed few days off.  Did all the good things: eating, drinking, hiking and swimming and all with excellent company.  In December, I’m heading back to the UK early for wardrobe fittings for the TV show and to spend time with my family over Christmas if the COVID-19 rules allow me to.

Early next year, will also see the release of the second season of, Age of the Living Dead, so I’m looking forward to that as President Margaret Robertson has a great journey in season 2.

My monthly recommendations are the TV mini-series, The Queen’s Gambit, which somehow manages to make watching endless games of chess compelling, and the documentary, Kiss The Ground, which gives rise to the hope that it is possible to reverse much of the damage we have done to the earth through bad farming practices.
