Most of June and July was spent back in the UK where I was visiting family and friends and auditioning for European projects.
Before I left for the UK, I was shooting on the independent feature film, Purple, which is a lovely story about how two strangers can meet and connect – learning how to trust each other and see the world from each other’s perspective. I have one more shoot day in August to complete filming and I’m really looking forward to seeing how the film turns out.
Once in London, I auditioned for a couple of feature films and several commercials. I have flown back to Los Angeles but hope to return to Europe to work soon.
During July, I was notified that the short film, Ember, that I shot back in 2019, has been accepted at the LA Shorts International Film Festival and was screened on 26 July 2022. The film has also been included in a very high profile showcase which is currently confidential but I will update with news on this when I’m given the go ahead.
I’ve always said that if a film can engage me on a plane, then it gets the thumbs up, so for this blog, I would like to recommend, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, starring the stupendous, Nicholas Cage, as himself and is a quirky twist on several film genres and really made me laugh.
